My name is Genet Mekonnen, and I’m the Managing Director of SEGEN. After a long career as a nurse, my journey took a new path when my sister encouraged me to explore design. I attended design school, discovered my passion for bag-making, and fell in love with the art of creating. Now, I manage SEGEN full-time, combining creativity and leadership to bring our shared vision to life through artisan-crafted leather goods.
